On October 13, 2019 our touring vehicle was broken into around 5:30pm in Oakland, CA right outside Jack London Square. They broke the rear passenger side window of the rental vehicle we were using for a 12 day run of shows down the coast. Fortunately most of our gear was in the trunk but they still managed to get away with a guitar amp, guitar wireless system, our entire in ear-monitor system, mixer for backing tracks and all associated cables that allows us to tour as a two piece punk band. Upwards of a couple thousand dollars worth of gear. With the help of all the bands we are playing shows with and a quick guitar center run, we managed to get a make shift setup together to finish the tour instead of cancelling and heading home. But the truth is that as a DIY band that makes almost no money, replacing this stuff isn't going to be easy at all. We literally spend all of our time working when we aren't playing shows just to make this band work. Our first instinct was to create a Go Fund Me but after a long drive the day after the incident we talked about it and decided asking for handouts wasn't our thing. Instead we decided to take one of our off days to record some acoustic songs in a hotel room and put them up on Bandcamp for free. We figured that if anyone felt like donating some money towards us replacing these lost items, they could at least get something in return.
